Enjoy!

Fundraising Goal for 2009: $500,000
In 2008 we provided funding to 4 charitable organizations across Canada, while also helping grow their own public image and awareness initiatives through the media. In 2009, we want to substantially grow that so that we can fund more organizations, provide larger grants, and give greater service. Help us reach our goal; Donate now!

About Our Work in the Community

In 2008, we've achieved much success in the community. Some stories are highlighted on this page. Click here to see a full synopsis of our community work and funding over 2008

Our Child Advocates Deliver Their Speeches

This year, the Ontario Government consulted with its Citizens so as to develop a Provincial poverty reduction strategy. Of the thousand people they heard from, our Up With Women Child Advocates were the only children to deliver their own recommendations. Click here to read their speeches and their stories

Our Adult Advocates Speaking in Shelters

Up With Women Advocates have been speaking in women's shelters across North America, so as to share their stories of hope. Click here to view a video of one talk that advocate Irene Mabry Moses delivered to the women in the shelter where she used to live, Washington, DC's My Sister's Place

Do You Have a Suggestion for a Great Organization to Provide a Grant To?

Up With Women is always on the lookout for more great organizations across North America to assist. Our aim is to fund programs around housing, safety and the economic empowerment of women. Please see our website for a description of some of the organizations we have helped thus far. Also, granting is not all we do. We also assist in raising public awareness for such organizations as well as boost their image and message.
