Thank you for your help.

At all times, Up With Women directs at least 80% of its US revenue to fund its US program activities. A minimum of 80 cents from every dollar is spent supporting programs around housing, safety and the economic empowerment of women. Our aim is to help get women out of abusive homes, off the streets, out of shelters and into safe, permanent housing with the financial stability to support themselves and their family.

Grants will be issued to organizations throughout the United States.

Special Challenge:

Greater Triangle Residents (North Carolina): If you heard us on the radio, then you've heard of our challenge: For the next two months, any donations that come in from North Carolina, will go to the YWCA Triangle to support their Homelessness Prevention and Economic Development programs.

Irene Mabry Moses and I (Lia Grimanis) spoke at the YWCA on January 17, 2008. We were both so impressed with the work that this organization is doing for the Greater Triangle region that we are excited to drive some funding their way. I will personally subsidize the administration costs so that 100% of the donations from this challenge reaches the organization.

Let's push for change!

Best Regards,

Lia Grimanis
